Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing- Full Review

Affiliate marketing. All the bloggers recommend you do it, but don’t like to tell you how.
Maybe you’ve just started a blog, and you’d like to make some money from it. Quitting the 9–5 would be the dream! So you try affiliate marketing. But you have no idea where to start.
Reading all of the blog posts, income reports, and step-by-step affiliate guides. that pop up on Pinterest has been inspiring, but less than helpful.
If this is you, I know how it feels. I was in the same exact boat.
I didn’t want to invest too much into my blog when I wasn’t making much money from it. But I knew to invest in my business was important!
So, after a ton of research, I landed on Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing. If you’ve been going back and forth about buying a blogging course, this is the first one I’d recommend, because it will pay for itself over time!
In today’s blog post, I will be going over what this affiliate marketing course has, what it’s done for me, and who this course is for. I will also give an idea of who this course is not for. I don’t want you wasting your money on something that isn’t for you!
WHAT IS IN MAKING SENSE OF AFFILIATE MARKETING?
I’m going to briefly go over what the course has to offer. I won’t go over everything in each module, because that would not be fair to Michelle, the creator of the course!
She starts out with an introduction to the course and gives you a workbook to go through. I highly suggest printing the workbook out and actually fill it out. Trust me. It’s worth it!

She teaches you the basics of affiliate marketing;

- Why affiliate marketing is great
- How affiliate links work
Module 2:
How to find and apply for programs;
- The amount of traffic you need
- How to determine what products to promote to your audience
- There are also a few worksheets in this section as well

- Tools you need to start
- Building trust, and why it’s important
- Click-through rate

Module 5:
Teaches you different strategies
- How to do reviews, promote on social media, Pinterest help, email marketing

- What not to do with affiliate marketing
- More worksheets!
Like I said, out of respect for Michelle, this is just a very brief overview of what is in her course! There’s a bonus section and way, way more in each individual section! I obviously don’t want to give away the secrets of her course!

MY EXPERIENCE FROM THE COURSE
Now that you know pretty much what is in the course, it’s time to tell you my experience and how it has worked for me!
I bought this course about 6–7 months ago. I half-assed my way through the modules and couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t working. Until I decided to go through the course again. I was pretty frustrated.
And then I noticed that I didn’t actually finish the course. Also, I didn’t implement the strategies or tips she gave us. I gave up before I even started!
I went through the course, learned the material, and never executed the plan! Basically, I shot myself in the foot!
How I expected the course to work without me actually doing any of the work, I’ll never know! So, don’t do what I did. If you want this course to work for you, you have to do the actual work!
MY RESULTS FROM THE COURSE
After I decided to go through the course again, I was determined to make it work this time. I couldn’t believe how much time I’d wasted thinking the course wasn’t working and it was just me!
Guess what happened when I actually tried her strategies with this blog?
In my second month of blogging, I made my first affiliate sale!

What this course is;

What this course is not;
- A “magic pill” that upon buying will automatically make people buy from your links
You have to put in the work with this course. Make sure to actually implement these strategies and use the step-by-step guide that she so carefully and clearly has lined out for you.
-You should buy this course if;
- You actually have the time to sit down, learn and implement the strategies in the course
- You’ve tried everything there is to make money with affiliate marketing and it’s just not working
- You are serious about learning how to make money with affiliate marketing
- You’re patient enough to wait to see results
WHO THIS COURSE IS NOT DESIGNED FOR
- If you don’t think you will be able to put the effort and the hours into your blog
- If you’re looking for overnight success or a get rich quick scheme
This course will take time to go through, and the strategies will take time to implement.
The results may also come in slowly. You have to have *some* traffic to your site. I say *some* because what you don’t need is 30,000+ page views to make a sale.
As you can see in my second-month blogging income report, I had about 15 views when I made my first sale!
If you have the money to buy this course, buy it! It is pretty worth it. On top of that, once you buy the course, you can become an affiliate for the course as well!
I hope this has given you a good look at the course and what it takes to actually make it work for you. Making an income through affiliate marketing and blogging is possible, but there is a lot of hard work and money that you need to have upfront for it to work for you for years to come.
